Privacy Policy

URGURU Gaming — effective 1 October 2026

URGURU is an Australian-based gaming community. This page explains, in plain English, what happens with your information when you visit urguru.net. The short version: this is a static website with no accounts, no forms and no tracking.

What we don't collect

Server logs

Like virtually every website, the server that hosts this site automatically records standard technical details when your browser requests a page: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser/user-agent and the referring page. We use these logs only for security, preventing abuse and diagnosing technical problems. Logs are stored on our hosting provider's systems (Hetzner, Germany), kept only as long as needed, and capped and rotated automatically.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own — no session cookies, no preference cookies, no tracking cookies. Nothing to accept, nothing to clear.

Third-party services

The site contains no embedded third-party content (no videos, maps or widgets embedded from other sites).

Your rights

Australian privacy law (the Privacy Act 1988) and, if you are in the EU, the GDPR give you the right to ask what information we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it. Realistically the only data we can hold is the server logs described above. To make a request, reach us through our Discord server — there is no email inbox attached to this site.

Changes to this policy

If anything about this site changes (for example, if analytics are ever added), this page will be updated and the effective date above changed.
